Beavers — Ages 6 to 8

Beavers is where most young people begin their Scouting journey — all about trying new things, making friends, and having fun.

What We Do

  • Arts and crafts, games, and creative activities
  • Introduction to the outdoors — simple nature activities, visits and trips
  • Learning to work as a team and care for others
  • First steps in water safety and our Sea Scout heritage
  • Working towards the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award

Meetings

Beavers meet every Monday, 5:30–6:45pm at our Headquarters on Yarmouth Road, Blofield.

Moving On

At around age 8, Beavers move up to Cubs.
