Scouts — Ages 10½ to 14

Scouts is where Sea Scouting really comes into its own. Members take on greater challenges, develop real skills, and make memories that last a lifetime.

What We Do

  • Sailing, canoeing, paddleboarding and powerboating at our RYA-accredited Brundall waterbase
  • Camping and expeditions — including international opportunities
  • Navigation, first aid, and practical outdoor skills
  • Community projects and service
  • Working towards the Chief Scout’s Gold Award and beyond

Royal Navy Recognition

As holders of Royal Navy Recognition number 68, we are held to a high standard — inspected by a Royal Navy officer every 18–24 months on seamanship, programme quality, and boating proficiency. Our Scouts benefit from access to Royal Navy facilities, equipment, and events that most Scout groups simply don’t have.
